Some species of bamboo flower once every hundred years. The whole plant, every stem, simultaneously — one single charge released after a century of patience, then gone. Botanists have never fully agreed on why. It remains one of nature's most dramatic and least understood events.

Here, the bamboo is already mid-charge. Electric blue stems cut through a dark navy ground, hand-painted in watercolour, every brushstroke slightly different from the last. And where the blue breaks, burnt orange and rust flowers push through with the same force and conviction as the plant that carried them.
